Climate performance
AHA Facial Cleanser. Engineered for Colorado. Proven Everywhere.
At altitude, low humidity and intense UV radiation accelerate surface moisture loss. Conventional exfoliating cleansers formulated for sea-level conditions strip the skin's surface in these environments, leaving it tight and reactive rather than refined.
Dr. Asarch observed this pattern in his Colorado patients for decades. The AHA Facial Cleanser was built to address it directly. Exfoliation and surface comfort happen simultaneously, in a single step, without compromise.
When skincare is strong enough for Colorado, it's strong enough for anywhere.

In their own words
"The cleanser is where every routine either earns its results or loses them. I needed a formula that genuinely prepared the skin, so that what came next could actually do its job. Not just clean. Prepare."
Dr. Richard Asarch, MD, FAAD | Founder, DermaSpa RX
"I've been using DermaSpa RX for a while now, and I can truly see a difference in my skin. It looks healthier, feels softer, and stays noticeably more hydrated, which matters a lot living in Denver, where the climate is so dry. The esthetician at a well-known spa was genuinely impressed with how hydrated and smooth my skin was when I mentioned I was from Denver."

"I have used all of the DERMAspaRX products over the past 10 months and the improvement in my skin has been remarkable. At 71, I have tried countless skincare products from dermatologists as well as boutique product lines, and I can say that the DERMAspaRX products have made a bigger difference than any of them."

FAQs
Can I use the AHA Facial Cleanser every day?
Yes. This cleanser is formulated for daily use, morning and evening. The multi-source AHA blend is balanced with Panthenol, Aloe Vera, and Allantoin to support the skin's surface throughout exfoliation, so it works without the tightness or reactivity that can come from stronger single-acid cleansers. Most users find twice daily use delivers the best results over time.
Is this cleanser safe for sensitive skin?
Generally yes, with one note. The AHA Facial Cleanser is designed for normal, combination, and oily skin types. If your skin is reactive or very sensitive, start with once-daily use in the evening and see how your skin responds over the first week. The conditioning actives in the formula, Panthenol and Allantoin, help support surface comfort. If you experience prolonged irritation, reach out to us before continuing.
Will the AHAs irritate or over-exfoliate my skin?
The formula is built to prevent this. Most irritation from AHA cleansers comes from high concentrations of a single acid, or from formulas that exfoliate without any comfort support. This cleanser uses a multi-source AHA blend at a threshold for visible results, not aggressive stripping, and pairs it directly with Panthenol and Aloe Vera to maintain surface moisture throughout. The result is exfoliation and comfort in the same step.
How long before I see results?
Most people notice improved smoothness and skin comfort within 1 to 2 weeks of consistent daily use. Visible surface refinement, including clearer tone and reduced texture, typically develops over 4 to 6 weeks. For the strongest results, use it as Step 1 of the full DermaSpa RX routine. Each subsequent product performs better on freshly cleansed, AHA-prepared skin.
Can I use this with retinol or other active ingredients?
Yes, but timing matters. If you use retinol or prescription retinoids in your routine, apply the AHA Cleanser in the morning and your retinol product at night after cleansing. This avoids layering two exfoliating actives in the same step. If you use vitamin C or niacinamide serums, the AHA Cleanser actually enhances their absorption since AHAs increase surface permeability, which is exactly why the Hydrating B Serum follows immediately after in the DermaSpa RX routine.
Is this cleanser suitable for all skin types?
It works best for normal, combination, and oily skin. People with dry or very dry skin may prefer to use it once daily in the evening rather than twice daily, pairing it with the Moisturizing Repair Cream to support the skin barrier overnight. Very reactive or compromised skin should start slowly and consult a dermatologist if uncertain. The formula was developed and tested in Colorado's dry, high-altitude environment, which means it performs in demanding conditions where most cleansers fall short.
Everywhere you go, your face gets there first. Treat it well, it's the story you show the world.
